The US Ambassador to Australia, Caroline Kennedy, showed off amazing athletic skills while training with the Brisbane Broncos during her recent trip to Queensland.
Mrs. Kennedy, daughter of former US President John F. Kennedy, landed in the Sunshine State over the weekend and witnessed the Broncos dethrone the Titans at a sold-out Cbus Super Stadium.
On Tuesday, Mrs. Kennedy attended a training session with the Broncos and the 65-year-old showed impressive tackling, kicking and passing skills for the first time.
The next day, the US Embassy in Australia posted a letter of thanks to the club along with a video of the activities in which they participated.
NRL education continues! Ambassador Kennedy is now impressed. Thank you @brisbanebroncosthe and anikawells for sport for the training session,’ the post said.
