Caroline’s collage of snapshots, simply quoted with an emoji with a love heart, was posted two days before she was found dead in her London apartment.

The star’s family has been notified and said in a statement tonight: “We can confirm that our Caroline died today on February 15.

“We want to ask the press to respect the privacy of the family during this difficult time.”

Caroline was seen earlier this week wall climbing with a friend at The Castle Climbing Center in London on Wednesday evening.

In a video shared on Instagram by her TV producer, Mollie Grosberg, the giggling Love Island star could be seen as she tried to climb the wall, but returned as she got too high.

Caroline, who returned to the UK last month after a break in Los Angeles to “clear her head” in the middle of her attack, appeared in a good mood during the clip titled: “We are professional climbers #healthiswealth. ”

Caroline was best known for her earlier front line with the hugely popular ITV2 show Love Island, which was startled tonight by the third death of one of the former stars.

Participants Mike Thalassitis and Sophie Gradon took their own lives after their appearances in the dating program, calling into question the future of the show.

Caroline’s death comes just a few weeks before she was put on trial for attacking partner Lewis Burton, who accused her in December of beating him with a light before she went back to these claims.

Yesterday the model and tennis player posted a photo of him and Flack on Instagram and wrote: “Happy Valentine’s … Love You.”

His heartfelt break followed an announcement by Caroline that she was about to break her silence about her difficult personal life.

In January she wrote: “I’m going to speak today … my and my family’s life is no longer suitable for entertainment or gossip,”

But one source said she wrote the post “without thinking” and changed her mind and swore to remain silent until the time was right.

The saga surrounding Caroline’s lawsuit saw her resign from hosting Love Island – the winter series is currently in the broadcast and is hosted by Laura Whitmore.

However, it was understood that she would return to the ITV2 show in the summer if she were acquitted in court for allegations of assault.
