Kylian Mbappé has reportedly been identified as the biggest problem in Real Madrid’s current problems by manager Carlo Ancelotti.
The Frenchman was hailed as Madrid’s big summer signing after refusing to extend his stay at PSG and signing as a free agent with the reigning Champions League champions.
However, life in the Spanish capital has not been easy for the superstar striker, whose arrival has coincided with Madrid struggling to mount convincing defenses of their European and LaLiga triumphs.
Barcelona recently thrashed Madrid 4-0 in El Clásico to establish a nine-point lead over its rival. Mbappé frustrated Los Blancos fans with his finishing and his tendency to stray offside during the match.
His preference for playing as a central striker has also forced Jude Bellingham into a deeper midfield role, with the Englishman yet to score this season after a strong previous campaign at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Mbappé ran just 8km during Madrid’s recent embarrassing El Clásico defeat against Barcelona
Ancelotti has previously stressed that he wants to see more from Mbappé, but now blames the 25-year-old for his inability to help the team when out of possession, as reported Relief.
It is claimed that Mbappe has been identified as the team’s biggest problem for his lack of effort in running, proving that the World Cup winner only ran 8km during Madrid’s embarrassing defeat in El Clasico.
The star’s refusal to help his teammates regain possession has caused an imbalance in the Madrid team that is making them more open and susceptible to counterattacks.

Mbappé’s current goal tally of just eight goals in 14 games in all competitions has not been enough to convince club bosses that they have made the right decision in bringing the striker to Madrid.
PSG, meanwhile, are excelling without Mbappé, currently topping the Ligue 1 table and producing more collective performances in the absence of the Frenchman, who left amid acrimonious circumstances.
Arsenal and Les Blues legend Thierry Henry recently praised the French giants for improving without Mbappe, who was previously the team’s central figure.
‘They are a little more stable, less counters. But they still lost Mbappé,” Henry told CBS Sports.
