It comes after Katie proudly showed off her eighth diamond engagement ring while insisting that her romance with Carl is ‘different’ on Tuesday’s Good Morning Britain.
The newly engaged couple appeared on the episode for a joint interview where Katie also reflected on her life-changing stint in The Priory for the first lockdown in 2020 after “ everything was going on with her. ”
During the interview, Katie, who already has five children, and Carl also revealed that they are trying to have a baby with the duo in the hope of having ‘one or two’ children.
The former glamor model, who went makeup-free after being late due to traffic, said her stint at The Priory “changed her life” and realized, “I’m human, not a product.”
Before her visit in 2020, Katie last visited the facility in September 2018, when she spent 28 days as an inpatient after her family urged her to seek help after wild parties in Mallorca.
Speaking at the GMB on Tuesday, the former glamor model said, ‘I’ll tell you what it is, last year before I went to The Priory, I sat there for five and a half weeks, everything just hit me. I was not myself.
‘It’s been a year and a half now, just before lockdown. I was in bad shape and I knew I had to get help. I couldn’t concentrate on anything mentally. So I was there for five and a half weeks, it literally changed my life.
‘I came out as a different person – more assertive, more control, not dictated and realized that I am human, not a product. Today I choose and choose what work I want to do, I will not be drawn here, there and everywhere.
“I think if I had met Carl before, it wouldn’t have worked. Now I am a different person. I’ve met him, he’s strict, keeps me in line.

“I’ve gone from immature to a real woman again and back to the businesswoman I want. And I don’t drink, don’t party. Nothing.’
As Carl noted, ‘I like to think I have a little bit of credit to do with that. However, she must be willing to adapt. But even from the time I first met her, until now, I see a tremendous change in her.
When I first met her, I felt like she was still quite vulnerable. She didn’t need to be nurtured, just almost cared for and soothed. She’s not [tough] it is all a persona. ‘
Katie, who has been engaged eight times and married three times, insisted that this time it is ‘different’ with her husband-to-be as she proudly showed off her custom-made diamond.
She said, ‘Completely different, my dress will be different, I will look different and my mind is different and I know so many people,’ Yeah, we’ve heard this before ‘.
‘Yeah, because before I got so concerned I made the wrong choices, but my mind wasn’t right. My head is like this now, I am a different person. ‘
