Police helicopter footage captured the dramatic end of the chase in Issaquah in King County, Washington, on Jan. 12.

The footage starts after two suspects dumped a stolen vehicle in the middle of the road.

They run into a parking lot and try to break into other parked vehicles, while the helicopter pilot reports their movements to agents on the ground.

One of the suspects, wearing a blue jacket, carjacks a woman in a KIA Sportage and drags the female driver onto the street, even as two police vehicles drive into him.

A cop tries to tackle him, but the suspect gets into the SUV and backs up, rams into the police vehicle and drives off.

Although the suspect in the blue jacket fled the scene, his accomplice dressed in black was arrested.

Police then tracked down the second suspect in the red Kia Sportage SUV he had carjacked.

The King County Sheriff Air Support said, “Police were tracking a stolen vehicle equipped with LoJack. The suspects dumped the vehicle in the middle of the road in Issaquah and one of them jacked up another vehicle with officers right behind them.

“The suspect later tried, unsuccessfully, another carjacking in someone’s garage and kept trying to flee from pursuing officers.

“The suspect eventually drove the vehicle into the water on a flooded road and was arrested.”

The footage, filmed from a police helicopter, shows police chasing the suspect through a rural area to a ‘dead end’ next to a river.

The helicopter pilot says the suspect is about to “run into a heap of water.”

The pilot tells the officers on the ground that the man “just ended up in very deep water, it covers half the car, I don’t think he will get much further.”

The driver then sees him exit the stolen car and wade through the water with his hands up.

At the end of the video, he is held by officers.
