Carey Mulligan was seen on Friday on the New York set of her film She Said.
The actress, 36, had no makeup on as she wore her brown hair in soft waves with short bangs. The star was dressed in a blue shirt and slide pants while holding a black mini fan to beat the heat.
The British star had the role of Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Megan Twohey.

He wore a blue checked shirt and blue jeans while holding a car seat in one hand.
The 36-year-old actress walked next to Tom as she looked at the car seat and then got into a sedan.
Her film is based on the book She Said: Breaking The Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite A Movement by Jodi Kantor and Twohey.

Rebecca Lenkiewicz, whose earlier scripts include a biopic of French writer Colette starring Keira Knightley, wrote the screenplay for She Said.
Mulligan showed off shoulder-length blonde locks in April as she competed for an Academy Award for her acclaimed revenge thriller Promising Young Woman, but has switched to a darker shade to more accurately portray Twohey.

Twohey and Kantor were the authors of the New York Times report that opened the story of Harvey Weinstein’s sexual predation.
Meanwhile, the project’s director is German filmmaker Maria Schrader who previously helmed the critically acclaimed Yiddish-language Netflix miniseries Unorthodox.
Carey received critical acclaim last year for her lead role in the feminist revenge film Promising Young Woman, directed by Emerald Fennell.
She received an Oscar nomination for best actress for her work in the film, but lost to Frances McDormand for the Chloe Zhao film Nomadland.
