Cardi B responds to online troll who called daughter Kulture ‘autistic’

Cardi B reacted strongly to an online troll who called her three-year-old daughter Kulture ‘autistic’ in a Tweet on Friday.

“My daughter isn’t autistic… You can’t call her ugly, so you have to diagnose her with something. Go play in traffic, b***h,” the 29-year-old rapper replied in the heat of the battle.

However, her response received mixed reviews from fans who pointed out that autism should not be taken as an insult.

The since-deleted tweet promoting the musician’s response read: “Your daughter is literally autistic and you are on Stan Twitter instead of making sure she doesn’t stick her finger in the socket.”

Many of Cardi’s fans begged the entertainer to just ignore the troll, but she continued in another Tweet, writing: ‘WHY ARE YOU CHILDREN UP? What should my children do with your misery?’

Her fans then questioned the WAP singer’s response, asking, “You have every right to defend your child. I’m just trying to understand why saying a child is autistic would be used as an insult.”

Heated: “My daughter isn't autistic… You can't call her ugly, so you have to diagnose her with her mind somewhere. Go play in traffic, b***h,

“If you don’t understand anything about a child with autism, you should know that they are gifted and wonderful in their own individual way,” she added.

Another user wrote: ‘I have to'[sic] grandsons with autism. They are my heart. I don’t know why people call your daughter autistic, but it’s nothing to be ashamed of.”

The Bodak Yellow singer has faced similar criticism in the past, and in an Instagram Live rant streamed in April 2022, she replied, clarifying once again that her children do not have autism.

“There’s nothing wrong with that disorder. I have friends with children who are autistic. But my child doesn’t. So if I want to say, “Don’t put that shit on my kid,” I can say it.”

“Why am I wrong when I say, ‘Don’t put that shit on my f*****g kid,’ but the person tweeting isn’t wrong?” she asked.

The star has previously opened up about online bullying and why she and her husband waited before revealing their son’s name, in an interview with Essence

‘We’ve been through a lot of sad things when it comes to [our daughter] Kulture — horrible behavior that even the older kids have never experienced,’ Cardi explained.

When their son was born in September 2021, the couple – who have been married since 2017 – decided to wait so they wouldn’t have to go through the same experience.

“So many people will post mean, disgusting things just to get a response from us. We want to protect our feelings because we get very angry and upset,” she revealed.

The relentless online bullying also prompted Cardi to make her daughter’s Instagram page – which has more than 2 million followers – private.
