Cardi B revealed she doesn’t regret getting her first face tattoo.
The Bodak Yellow rapper, 30, took to Twitter on Thursday to share the first close-up image of the artwork, which shows the name of her one-year-old son, Wave, spelled out on her jaw in red ink.
“I love my face tatt,” the hitmaker – who got the tattoo done last year – wrote in the caption, adding a red heart emoji.
The image is from her and her husband Offset, 31, recent McDonald’s campaign.
Cardi looked incredible in a white halter-neck dress with crystal detailing, and pulled her black locks into a chic updo, revealing the cursive body art.

The star decided last year to add new artwork to her already extensive tattoo collection.
The musician was featured in a video posted by a tattoo artist on Instagram Robinson de Los Santos while getting the side of her jaw tattooed.
In the short thirteen-second clip, Cardi can be seen covering her face as Santos works on the design, which resembles lettering in red ink.
“Today’s work, Cardi B,” he captioned the music video in Spanish.
Santos also shared a shared selfie of him and Cardi that partially showed off the singer’s new design.
Fans in the comments were divided on the new body art, with some warning that a face tattoo is never a good idea.
“OMG not a good move…I love cardi.B, trust..NEVA the face takes away your beauty…,” one follower wrote.
Another added, “Well don’t ruin your face with tats, your body is okay but not the face.”

Others, however, defended her choice, with one fan writing, “Her body, her choice, you all bother and what she does doesn’t even affect your day-to-day life.”
In January, Cardi — born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar — told fans she was thinking about getting her son Wave’s name tattooed.
“Random…I’m almost 1% too close to tattooing my son’s name on my face…I really want to do it!” she wrote in a Tweet at the time, sharing that she wanted the new tattoo on her jaw.
She shares Wave and daughter Kulture, four, with her Migos rapper husband Offset.
The idea could have come from her husband, who has their daughter’s name tattooed on his jawline.
Cardi B and Offset already have tattoos in honor of each other. The singer has his name on the back of her leg, while the Stir Fry rapper has had her name tattooed on his neck.
The couple – who have been married since 2017 – also have matching hand tattoos of their wedding date.
Cardi already has an extensive collection of ink on her body, with a very colorful peacock and butterfly design running all the way from her thigh to her ribcage.
The Bronx native also sports a huge floral tattoo on the back featuring bright flowers, butterflies, and a hummingbird, in an array of colors, including various tones of purple, orange, blue, red, yellow, and green, among others.
