Outspoken rapper Cardi B found herself in an awkward moment at a rally for Vice President Kamala Harris on Friday, due to teleprompter issues.
The famous white-clad rapper took the stage in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and immediately paused as the crowd applauded wildly.
‘One second guys. One second!’ she began as the crowd cheered her on.
He took off his white gloves and tried to start speaking, but eventually stopped again after the teleprompter screen went blank.
‘OK. So I don’t take the call lightly,” he began, before pausing. ‘Sorry guys, I’m a little nervous. I’m a little nervous, I’ve been waiting for this moment all this life, all my life.’

‘I need patience here, patience, where are you girl?’ she screamed. ‘I need patience here!’
‘Are we ready to make history?’ he asked repeatedly.
After about 90 seconds of delay, an assistant finally ran up to the stage to give him a phone with what appeared to be his prepared comments on the screen.
“Now I took my time writing my speech, so I wanted to make sure I delivered it correctly,” he said.
Cardi B quickly regained confidence and read her speech over the phone.

“Like Kamala Harris, I too have been the underdog, underestimated, my success belittled and discredited,” she said, praising Harris for “standing up” to the bullies.
“Women have to work ten times harder, perform ten times better and still people ask us how we got to the top.” she said.
Cardi B admitted she wasn’t interested in running in the 2024 election, but Harris’ entry into the race changed her mind.
‘I’m going to be honest with all of you. This year I was not going to vote. He wasn’t, but when Kamala Harris joined the race, he changed his mind. Completely,’ he said.
The rapper attacked President Joe Biden in July when he was running for president, calling him and the Democratic Party “selfish” for not stepping aside for Harris.
‘I feel like this would have been the perfect time to shine. “We already know he’s very skilled with his damn mouth,” he said in mid-July after Biden’s disastrous debate performance.
He continued to repeat many familiar themes from Harris’ campaign, criticizing former President Donald Trump for selling $100,000 worth of watches, sneakers and Bibles from China.
“I will not give Donald Trump a second chance,” he said. I won’t take any chances with my future and I sure as hell won’t take any chances with my children. …I’m not going to give him the chance! I’m with Kamala!’
Cardi B was one of several celebrities Harris recruited to speak or perform at the campaign event to rally her supporters to vote in the final days before the election.
Rapper GloRilla took the stage at a Kamala Harris rally in Milwaukee on Friday, where she performed two of her hits: ‘Hollon’ and ‘Yeah Glo.’
The most graphic lyrics were censored, but the number of muted lyrics left attendees wondering if there were technical problems with their microphone.
Harris urged everyone in Wisconsin to get out and vote, and saluted young Gen Z voters who were voting for the first time.
“I love Generation Z,” he said, laughing. ‘This is what I love about you. You are, rightly, impatient for change. I love that about you!’
