For best revival play, Shakespeare’s play will go up against the touring production of A Raisin in the Sun, the Crucible Theatre’s version of The Crucible and the star-studded West End revivals of Oedipus, Romeo and Juliet and Waiting for Godot.
Meanwhile, the revival of Michael Harrison and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical Starlight Express leads the pack with a total of nine nominations.
