The shirtless man opened one of the back doors and pulled Allen’s daughter from the car as they demanded the keys in the attack around 7.30pm on Friday.

Allen’s other son and two very young granddaughters were still in the car when one of the thieves climbed inside.

“He (one of the car thieves) jumps in the driver’s seat, I’m outside looking in and he points a gun in my oldest son’s face.”

Allen’s son jumped out of the car and she went to the other side of the car to open the back door and pick up her granddaughters while her sons took them away.

Their tactic worked and the car thieves stole the silver hatchback and sped off the grass and onto the street.

‘I’m not sleeping. My oldest son has anxiety through the roof, he is even afraid. “My daughter is in shock, but they are safe,” Allen said.

She said her family was staying out of town and that the entire family was making plans to leave Jackson after moving just three months ago.
