A suspicious car bomb exploded outside courtyards in a street in the city center in Northern Ireland.
A picture was tweeted from a Twitter account at the Police Service of Northern Ireland with a vehicle on Bishop Street in Londonderry.
The police warned people to stay away from the area of the explosion that took place around 8.15 am.

A tweet from the PSNI said: "The police are present at the scene of an incident in the center of Derry / Londonderry.

Foyle Sinn Fein MP Elisha McCallion condemned the blast.
She said: & # 39; This incident has shocked the local community.
In particular, there are many older residents living in the area who are alarmed by this.
Fortunately nobody seems to have been injured.
"Derry is a city that moves forward and nobody wants this type of incident. It is not representative of the city.
I would encourage anyone with information about this incident to bring it to the police. & # 39;
