Russian police have arrested an alleged Satanist cannibal who “ate the heart of a pensioner” after “hacking him to death”.
Erkinzhon Abdurakhmanov, 47, intended to cure his own heart problems “after making a deal with the devil,” he told police.
He reportedly visited the 65-year-old pensioner in the Kuyurgazinsky district of Russia’s Bashkortostan region and hit him three times with an ax.
The former Russian military recruit then cut out the heart and “ate the food” while waiting at a bus stop.
He handed the unconsumed remains to a woman who was also waiting for a bus “and asked her to bury them.”
He told police that “the devil ordered him to kill a man who had previously made an agreement with him, so that the murdered person would go to heaven.”
A murder case has been opened against Abdurakhmanov, who confessed to the ritual murder, media outlet Mash reported citing authorities.
He then went to a store where he stole alcohol.
