Rebel Wilson has slammed Sacha Baron Cohen once again for “humiliating and degrading” her on set, while defending her decision to name him in her shocking memoir by insisting it was “100 per cent truthful and honest”.

The Australian actress, 44, appeared on the Today show on Monday alongside Hoda Kotb to discuss the revealing title Rebel Rising.

He had previously said he was going to write a chapter in the book about “a huge jerk” he had worked with in Hollywood, but he initially did not reveal the person’s identity.

Earlier today, the Pitch Perfect star once again defended herself from making explosive claims about the 52-year-old producer, who vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

The segment started with REbel described the upcoming memoir as “deeply personal” and shared: “I feel a mixture of anxiety because to be so vulnerable and expose everything takes a little courage to do it.”

Hoda, 59, then asked the actress about the chapter in the book that references working with Sacha as ‘worst professional experience’ and shared: ‘I couldn’t help but feel humiliated.’

The host asked if Rebel was happy to have included the claims and the actress responded: “Yes.” I mean, that was something that happened 10 years ago.

“Obviously I’m over it now, but it was my worst professional experience and I felt humiliated and degraded as a person.”

“I thought it was worth sharing in a book because there are probably a lot of people who have had the same experiences.”

She continued: ‘In fact, since all the headlines appeared, many women have contacted me to say that they have had similar experiences with this guy.

“So to at least help some people not feel alone and know that you can go through something like that at work and then come out the other side a stronger person.”

The most shocking accusation was that he asked her to “stick her finger up his ass” because he thought it would be a funny scene in the movie.

Rebel stated, “I felt like every time I talked to SBC, he mentioned that he wanted me to get naked in a future scene.” I was like, “Ha, I don’t do nudity, Sacha.”

The actress claimed she was allegedly summoned by a production assistant for an extra scene while filming in Cape Town, South Africa.

Rebel wrote: “Okay, let’s film this extra scene,” says SBC. “Then he pulls down his pants,” SBC says matter-of-factly, “Okay, now I want you to stick your finger in my ass.” And I said, “What?… No!!”

The Pitch Perfect star claimed she was in shock and wanted to get out of it, adding: “Now I was scared.” I wanted to get out of there, so I finally compromised: I slapped him on the butt and improvised some lines as the character.’

Elsewhere in the Today interview, Hoda asked Rebel what she thought about her response, to which she said, “Obviously, knowing her character, I assumed she would react this way.
