Boxing superstar Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez has fired a dire warning at Jake and Logan Paul, alleging that the Youtubers who became boxers could be killed if they continue to fight.
The Paul brothers have been at the forefront of YouTube stars’ recent trend to enter the boxing ring and have caught the attention of the sport after a huge buzz and huge interest from fans.
Jake has gone on to fight real pros, rather than other Youtubers, shocking the fighting world when he knocked out retired MMA great Ben Askren in the first round of their fight last month.

But despite all the glitter and attention from both fighters, Alvarez warned that the Paul brothers are putting themselves in extremely dangerous situations against elite boxers.
‘They could have them killed. This is not a football game, they can get them killed, ” Alvarez said in an interview with Graham Bensinger.
The Mexican focused his anger on the boxing authorities, who condone the Paul brothers’ fights.

Alvarez said the Paul brothers (pictured) don’t respect ‘real fighters’ with their matches
‘Why do they license people who have never hit them in their lives?
‘If there is a death, the committee is responsible. Why? Because they issued the permit for the fight. ‘
Alvarez has also sued the Paul brothers and others like them for disrespecting the sport of boxing and accusing them of only being interested in the financial rewards.
“I really believe it’s a lack of respect,” he said. ‘It’s all based on money. It’s all for money. I am now focused on other projects.
‘I have other things going on, and I would invite him (a Paul brother) to a sparring session so he really knows what it’s all about.
“For real fighters, I believe it is a lack of respect.”
