The 79-year-old widow of the late television producer Aaron Spelling and mother of actress Tori Spelling now joins a growing list of Hollywood elites who have seen their homes destroyed as fires continue to ravage the area.
At least five people have died and nearly 130,000 are under evacuation orders, and many celebrities are among those affected by the fires.
Spelling’s 7-bedroom seaside retreat, which sat on an 8,000-square-foot property along 81 feet of La Costa Beach, is now reduced to rubble and ashes, with little more than a burned-out fence as only trace of what was once an impressive house.

Last year, Spelling had listed the house for $23 million, but then took it off the market.

Candy’s close friend Josh Flagg also spoke to TMZ and said, “I’m devastated.” I have so many memories in this house. The house is gone, but the memories are not.
‘This is a total shame. This whole fire is a shame. This didn’t have to happen.”
As the fires continue to rage, Spelling and many others face the heartbreaking loss of their homes in one of the hardest-hit areas of Los Angeles.
