A cancer survivor showed her incredible new appearance after receiving a head-to-toe ambush makeover in celebration of her five years in remission.
Staci Nowell, 31, from McKinney, Texas, was visiting New York City for the first time with her teenage son Jed when she was picked from the crowd in the Today show plaza on thursday and get a new look.
& # 39; I feel great. I just enjoy every minute. It's like a dream come true in this segment, & she said before meeting her glamor team.

In addition to celebrating the five-year anniversary of her cancer survival, Staci also enjoyed a precious bond with her son, who is starting his high school year this fall.
& # 39; I watch Ambush Makeover all the time and I have taken pictures on my phone of the TV people with the makeovers so that I could try to copy them & she said.
But she admitted that the purple tank and the gray pants she was wearing, & # 39; in fact dressed & # 39; were for her.

Pam Cornelison, 60, from Clovis, New Mexico, also received an ambush makeover during the Thursday show.
The mother-of-one was in New York City with her daughter, Casey, who was celebrating her 60th birthday and her recent retirement, giving her more time to spend with her two grandchildren.
