Pizza lovers across the country have been praising a hidden but simplistic Canadian-style pepperoni pie, calling it “absolutely brilliant.”

“Fun fact about Ontario (where I live) is that we crush our pepperoni before putting it on the pizza,” the small-town teen wrote.
Eagle-eyed foodies soon discovered that the pie is known as Windsor-style pizza and is only made in Canada’s automotive capital.
The tweet, which garnered nearly 10 million views, soon had enthusiasts raving about how efficient and “incredibly cool” the technique is.
‘This seems like an excellent idea. I hate biting into a slice halfway only to pull out a whole disc of pepperoni, and with it it drags everything that was attached to it. The pepperoni intended for later is removed. Being thinner, it would be crunchy instead of hard,” wrote one passionate food addict.
“Wait a minute, this is great,” marveled another.
When one enthusiastic viewer asked, “Does this make pizza taste better or worse?”, enthusiastic Windsor locals assured, “Much better, to be honest.” It makes pepperoni in every bite.”
Another added: “I’ve definitely noticed this at Windsor… I like that there are a lot of pepperonis in every bite.”
A middle-aged pizza lover also said, “I’m 74 years old and in my entire life, I’ve never seen shredded pepperoni on a pizza… It might be good, though.”

But some people seemed to disagree with the majority opinion and preferred the classic pepperoni pizza.
“Yes, but you don’t want all the bites to taste the same, there has to be a minimum of variety,” argued one.
While another classic style lover said: ‘Mmm, every bite brings a load of pepperoni worms to my mouth, the people of Windsor need to be locked in there.’ They are not right in the head.’
One of America’s favorite toppings, pepperoni is a cured salami made from beef or pork and seasoned with paprika along with other chili peppers.
Conventional pepperoni pizza includes layers of tomato sauce, cheese, and circular slices of meat baked over the entire pie and is one of the most popular options nationwide.

While every bite of pizza is guaranteed to be tasty, crushing the pepperoni also allows the oil that tends to build up in the pepperoni cups to spread across the surface of the pizza.
