The highest suspension bridge in the country opens in May, allowing hikers to cross a canyon in British Columbia at an altitude of 130 meters.

The Golden Skybridge, near the town of Golden, will actually contain not one but two sprawling suspension bridges, the lower one hanging at a height of 80 meters – still high enough to make it Canada’s second highest suspension bridge. .
The experience offers dramatic 360-degree views of expansive alpine vistas and breathtaking views of a 61-meter waterfall.
The two bridges will be connected by a forest trail totaling three kilometers (1.8 miles) long, and viewing platforms will provide guests with more opportunities to admire the scenic landscape.
A courtyard and cafe on the experience base, meanwhile, ‘will provide’ the perfect resting places before and after the mountain trip, ‘says the behind the bridge company, adventure tour company Pursuit, who will operate it in partnership with a group of local developers led by Paul Deutsch and Rav Soomal.

The mountain town of Golden is located in southeastern British Columbia, 90 minutes from Banff, and is surrounded by six Canadian national mountain parks.
