Can you spot snow leopards? Only people with the sharpest eyes will spot predators in less than eight seconds

Although these may look like images of a normal rocky mountain surface…there is a deadly predator lurking in plain sight.

The snow leopard is not easy to find, but if you squint you might be able to spot it.

A wildlife photographer has captured relatively close images of the snow leopard roaming free in Tibet.

And, the big cat displayed top-notch camouflage skills, blending seamlessly into the taupe background.

Even the most discerning of us will have a hard time spotting the snow leopard in this photo, as it is perfectly camouflaged

The pictures show the big cat prowling – but you might not be able to notice it right away.

Use this time wisely and scan the images from top to bottom to search for the sneaky snow leopard.

Were you able to spot the snow leopard hiding on the mountain? And if so, how long did it take you to find it?

Once you find the big furry cat, you’ll be sorry you didn’t find it sooner.

But, if you’re still struggling, direct your eyes to the rocks and you’ll see the carnivore crouching among them.

Another photo of the sneaky snow leopard shows it perched among rocks on a snowy day.

The eagle-eyed among us will have no trouble finding the creature in this photo and may have spotted the leopard right away.

But, if you need a hint, look for spots towards the bottom left of the image.

The big cat looks ready to pounce, and impressively, they are the top predators in their environment preying on sheep and mountain goats.

The photographer took another photo of the animal in its natural habitat – but can you see it?

Among the rare snow, the predator climbs the top of the mountain, if you still can’t see it – look to the right of the picture.

Snow leopards are scattered across 12 Central Asian countries – including Mongolia, China, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and Nepal.

Each country calls its snow leopards by a different name, in Tibet, where the creature is depicted, they are called Sah or Shen.

The species is considered vulnerable by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), with only 4,000 species remaining.

The big cat can impressively kill prey up to three times its own weight on its difficult terrain.

Their homes are rugged mountain landscapes and can reach heights of over 3,000 meters, where they feed on sheep and mountain goats.

If you need help finding the sneaky snow leopard, look down to the right of the image and you may only see a few spots.

But, if you weren’t lucky to find it, here are the answers – prepare to have your mind blown.
