Another terrifying shooting, believed to be linked to the Sydney underworld, occurred on Tuesday evening.

Police rushed to Canterbury Rd, Campsie, around 10pm amid reports of a drive-by shooting.

It is believed two people were in a car when the occupants of another vehicle opened fire on them.

One of the men was hit in the chest and ear, according to 2GB radio.
