Lana Del Rey kicks off Coachella’s second weekend with Camila Cabello as surprise guest… after having Billie Eilish join her at the musical festival

Lana Del Rey opened her headlining performance at Coachella on Friday night to cheers.

But, before concluding his time on stage, he had a surprise up his sleeve for the audience by inviting Camila Cabello to the stage to sing his new single, I Luv It.

Lana, 38, watched from the balcony of their set and joined the chorus. As Camila continued singing, Lana, who welcomed Billie Eilish as her special guest at Coachella last weekend, made her way to the stage.

He sang the parts of the song that Playboy Carti sings in the original.

At the end of the set, the Cinnamon Girl singer thanked Cabello profusely and said: ‘[Camila] She’s my girl, I have a lot of fun with her. I love this song and thank you so much angel for coming and singing with me.’

Cabello responded: “This is an honor for me, you are one of my favorite artists of all time.” I love you a lot.’

Camila shared more heartfelt feelings for the Video Game singer later that night.

She posted some short video clips of Lana on stage, as well as her face reacting to the lyrics while singing on her Instagram Stories.

“Always in awe of you @honeymoon,” the former Fifth Harmony member wrote.

Last weekend, Lana welcomed Billie to the stage to perform two songs in front of 100,000 attendees at the annual music and arts festival in Indio, California.

The musical duo performed Eilish’s 2016 song Ocean Eyes before launching into a duet with Del Rey’s pop ballad Video Games.

The 11-time Grammy nominee gave Eilish a sweet shout-out for joining her on stage.

“That’s the voice of our generation, the voice of your generation,” Del Rey raved. “I’m so fucking grateful that she’s standing next to me right now, singing my favorite song.”

Eilish laughed at the compliment and joked to get her idol to “get her face off” of her face, which made them both laugh.

The Bad Guy singer later gushed about Del Rey’s impact on her career and the music industry.

‘This is the reason half of you bitches exist…including mine!’ Eilish told the audience. ‘Lana Del Rey, guys, come on!

Jack Antonoff and Jon Batiste also joined the Diet Mountain Dew singer’s set on Friday as they did during the first week of Coachella.

Last week, Batiste played piano and sang with her during her song Candy Necklace while Antonoff attended a reading of Hope is a Dangerous Thing for a Woman Like Me, But I Have It.

On Saturday, Cabello took to her main Instagram to share special moments from the night while also giving her a sweet shout-out and thanking her for the opportunity to perform together.

‘@honeymoon is not only a once-in-a-lifetime artist, Billie said it best, she is the reason for all of you, including me, to exist!’

“She has inspired many artists visually, lyrically and musically and has advanced the art form, but I think everyone should know that sometimes it’s nice to meet your heroes because she is also incredibly sweet, generous and loving.”

Camila further gushed: ‘Also, how is she so damn, dammit?’ I don’t really know who I would be without female artists like her showing me what is possible, how to be free, how to be tough and soft at the same time.

‘How to make your life a work of art, thank you for including us in your moment last night, I am at your service forever, my girl,’ Camila concluded.

She also shared a photo of the couple hugging as they both pursed their lips at the camera.

The star also uploaded some videos while taking the stage to perform her latest single, I Luv It.

One reel showed a clip of Lana and Camila hugging and dancing in circles on stage while music played in the background.
