Camila Cabello announces she’ll be joining The Voice as a coach in a fun video with fellow coaches Gwen Stefani, John Legend and Blake Shelton
Camila Cabello will be set to speak with Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, and John Legend on the 22nd season of The Voice.
The 25-year-old pop star announced her new role in a short social media clip posted on Sunday.
All four stars sang with Minka’s Grace Kelly, and took part in the popular TikTok trend.

The caption to the post shared between Legend and Stefani reads, “See you this fall! #TheAudio.”
The latest show features The Voice Legend and Shelton alongside coaches Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande. Clarkson won the season with Girl Named Tom.
Although this is Capello’s first season as a coach, she will face some experienced opponents.
Shelton has coached for all 22 seasons, Legend has coached since Season 16 in 2019, and Stephanie has coached on and off, since Season 7 of the hit show.

On top of the years of coaching, all of Capello’s players have won seasons of the show before. Shelton is the winningest coach in the show’s history with eight titles to his credit after last winning in Season 20 that aired last spring.
Legend won Season 16, his first season, and Stephanie took the crown in Season 19.
Despite not serving as a full-time coach, Capello was a part-time advisor to Team Legend last year, and speaks fondly of her ability to advise.

“Camila has all the experience she needs to be the perfect advisor for our team,” said Legend. additional in an interview. “I participated in a singing competition before and did really well in it.”
He continued, “It was part of a group, and in this battle environment, where artists are dueting with each other, that’s a very important skill to have. And she’s obviously an incredibly successful artist and performer in her own right, and all of the things she’s learned over these years are going to be incredibly important to our team.
Cabello appeared on the short-lived competition show The X Factor USA in 2012 when her band Fifth Harmony was featured. The group eventually finished in third place.
The Voice first aired in 2011. Over the next 12 years, more than 500 episodes were released.
