A Cambridge-trained doctor accused of having sex with several women in his surgery threatened to kill one of his lovers, she told the court on Monday.
The woman – referred to only as Miss D – denied she was motivated by a desire to “ruin” Dr Tom Plimmer and alleged he had threatened her “recently”.
She also told a malpractice hearing that the 40-year-old had paid another woman “in exchange for sex at work” and that as well as carrying out a series of affairs he had created ” a secret second home.”
Dr Plimmer – who the Mail revealed has previously spoken openly about his struggle with sex addiction and sleeping with almost 90 women – is accused of inviting two women to the practice in Swindon, Wiltshire, for sex during working hours.
He also allegedly exchanged innuendo-filled messages with a female colleague before they engaged in weekly sexual relations in his consulting room.

According to the allegations Dr Plimmer (pictured) faces, in 2021 he said “if that bitch takes me to GMC I’ll slit her throat” and “I know where she lives”, or words to that effect .
Today his lawyer said Dr Plimmer admits telling Miss D that if he was investigated by the General Medical Council ‘again’ he would ‘slit’ another lover’s throat presumed.
But Tom Day, representing Dr Plimmer, said the comment was made “in the heat of the moment”, earlier suggesting it was meant “figuratively”.
And he said his client denied saying he knew where the woman – called Miss F – lived.
“He said he knew where she lived,” Miss D replied.
According to the allegations Dr Plimmer faces, in 2021 he said “if that bitch takes me to GMC I’ll slit her throat” and “I know where she lives”, or words to that effect.
During the second week of evidence, the Doctors Tribunal hearing heard Miss D denied trying to intimidate any of Dr Plimmer’s witnesses.
She added that “through the same person, Tom had recently threatened to kill me.”
Miss D also denied Mr Day’s suggestion that she had “decided to ruin Dr Plimmer in every way possible” after learning he had cheated on her.
She alleged that one of Dr. Plimmer’s patients told her “that he paid her money in exchange for sex at work.”

Dr. Plimmer was accused of sending unsolicited photos of his genitals, “taken at work.”
During the tribunal, the doctor faced allegations from at least half a dozen women, including a “vulnerable” colleague.
Mr Day responded by emphasizing that this was not part of the allegations Dr Plimmer faced.
Miss D said she reported Dr Plimmer because she found “more than just affairs – I found relationships that lasted for years and a secret second home”.
Last week, another of his lovers said he had spoken of suffering from an “untreated sex addiction” and said she was “not the only one” he had tackled.
“I was used as an object to keep a sex addict from getting bored,” she claimed.
The court – which is taking place via online sessions – has previously heard that Dr Plimmer lied about his family members’ illness as he tried to “juggle” his series of girlfriends.
The doctor – who faces allegations from six women in total – admits sexual activity with his colleague took place, but he claims it was consensual.
He also admits that he also sent her photos of himself with his head in a noose, having sex with other women and performing a sex act on himself.
On Saturday, the Daily Mail revealed how Dr Plimmer gave a candid interview to a Sunday newspaper in 2016 about his battle with the disease – which he claims led to his dismissal from a previous doctor’s job generalist.
The doctor – who was photographed but used his mother’s maiden name rather than her professional name – spoke of living a “double life”.
“On the face of it, I had a life that most people would envy: a happy relationship and a stable, well-paid job as a GP,” he told the Sunday Mirror. “I had convinced myself that I would never be discovered.
“But ultimately my world collapsed around me and I found myself on the verge of suicide.”
In the interview, Dr. Plimmer also shared that from his very first serious relationship, at the age of 18, he had been constantly unfaithful.
“I’ve slept with almost 90 women,” he added.
