Fans of the hit podcast Call Her Daddy ripped Alex Cooper apart after she posted her surprise interview with Vice President Kamala Harris on Sunday.
The vice president, who has come under intense criticism for her lack of interviews, follows her appearance on the NBA-themed show All The Smoke with an appearance on Alex Cooper’s popular talk show.
The show’s Instagram account posted a short preview of the interview, which was posted Sunday morning, and many of the ‘Daddy Gang’ show’s listeners were angered by the questioning of ‘softball’ and making the show political.
“I unsubscribed and unfollowed,” one fan wrote in the comments.
“I’m very disappointed, this seems like propaganda and trying to make her look like ‘gen z,'” another added. ‘One day you will remember this and regret it when we are in a war because of him. SMH, really smh. You just lost a lot of respect.

Others noted that it seemed in poor taste given the Biden-Harris administration’s response to the devastation left behind by Hurricane Helene.

Some joined the online fray to support Cooper and the show, noting that Cooper has spoken out in favor of abortion rights, which a spokesperson for Harris confirmed was on the agenda.

“Imagine boycotting someone for having a presidential candidate on their show,” wrote another. ‘You should be proud of your girl. It is not necessary that one likes and agrees with all the guests.’
“TRUMP 2024 will never hear this show again,” commented one conservative listener. ‘Ask him about his POLICIES instead of all the soft interviews he’s received.
Harris avoided the show’s typically raunchy sexual content when speaking to Cooper and allowed the vice president to repeat her typical talking points about abortion rights and student debt.

Harris also reacted to JD Vance’s comments about “childless cat ladies” running the country by saying, “I think it’s cruel.”
The campaign added that Harris will speak to the “cultural phenomenon” – who landed Cooper a $125 million contract with SiriusXM – about other issues important to women before the election.
The interview is the latest in a series of appearances in less traditional media by the vice president as she prepares her candidacy for the White House.
The vice president sat down with former basketball players Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes for a special episode of their ‘All the Smoke’ podcast in a wide-ranging interview that lasted approximately 45 minutes.
The podcast hosts use their platform to discuss the latest news both on and off the basketball court.
During the episode released on Monday, the three discussed Harris’ allegiance to the Golden State Warriors, but also branched out to address a number of other topics, from politics to her family and family.social identity.
It comes as Harris faces criticism for largely avoiding difficult interviews with journalists who would grill her on the issues, instead opting to appear on friendlier platforms as she works to reach voters across the country.

However, Call Her Daddy has become a hot spot for some of the world’s most famous women (and men) to share their stories.
Cooper, who grew up in Newtown, Pennsylvania, launched Call Her Daddy in 2018 with her roommate, Sofia Franklyn, after graduating from the College of Communication.
Immediately, thanks to his infectious personality and fearless ability to ask hard-hitting questions, the show became a huge hit.
Within two months, it had two million listeners and was quickly acquired by Barstool Sports.
She and Sofia split in 2020, and a year later, she landed a $60 million deal with Spotify.
The podcast has since become the most listened to podcast by women on Spotify.
Additionally, Cooper has since become a huge star in his own right, amassing over 3.2 million followers on Instagram.
She has interviewed a host of celebrities on the podcast, including Simone Biles, Miley Cyrus, Megan Fox, Revel Wilson, Emily Ratajkowski, Gwyneth Paltrow and Hailey Bieber.
Last year, the podcast host launched her own platform called Unwell Network, which has since signed up TikTok sensation Alix Earle.
