A Californian busker dressed like a pencil was attacked after a bystander had grabbed his ukulele and used it to attack him.
Matt Eberhart played a parody of “I Will Survive” at the Rundle Mall in Adelaide when he was the target on Wednesday at noon.
Video footage showed a man who took the Fringe artist’s instrument from the suitcase and started walking toward him.

The attacker then tried to hit the man with the mini guitar before he landed a blow on the head of the performer.
Witnesses then jumped at the man and held him until the police arrived.
Mr. Eberhart held a cloth to his head and asked bystanders to give him money because he “needs a new ukulele,” according to the Advertiser.
The busker was taken to the hospital for treatment of a head wound.
“It’s one thing to hit someone, it’s something else to grab and hit with,” he said 7 NEWS.
“If you want to fight with me, fight with your fists.

Passers-by then jumped on the accused and held him until the police arrived
“Even then – I am a lover, not a fighter. I don’t like to fight. ”
A 29-year-old man was arrested.
He is expected to be accused of material damage, theft, possession of a controlled medicine and abuse.
