A woman claimed she carefully cared for a sick ‘baby hedgehog’ overnight and discovered it was a fluffy hat pom pom when she rushed it to an animal hospital.
The animal lover claims she found what she thought was an injured creature on the sidewalk and “spent a night caring for it,” even though it was slightly lighter and fluffier than the spiky creature.

‘I realized it had no animation at all and I picked it up and obviously with the weight I could feel that it wasn’t a hedgehog or any animal at all.
‘She was so sweet, bless her, her heart was in the right place.
‘He took the box from me and left quite quickly.
“I thought it was funny afterwards, but I couldn’t believe what I was seeing because to me a hedgehog is obviously a hedgehog.
