A glamorous Calabasas divorcee has been arrested in connection with the murder of her ex-husband after he had a baby with his new younger wife.
Ahang Mirshojae, 53, was arrested Thursday in connection with the August shooting death of her ex-Dr. Hamid Mirshojae, 61, outside the Woodland Hills Medical Clinic in Topanga as he walked to his car.
She was one of five suspects in connection with the death on Thursday.
No motive has been given, but after the Mirshojaes’ marriage ended, the doctor contacted a much younger woman and had her baby.
Although his new marriage seemed to be happy, DailyMail.com had previously revealed that the fallout from his first marriage to Ahang was a series of legal battles.
The father of four was shot dead at close range in broad daylight over the summer. His wife and their nine-month-old baby were in Turkey at the time of the murder.
In the hours leading up to her arrest, police were spotted searching Ahang Mirshojae’s luxurious Calabasas mansion, nestled in a gated community.
Dr Mirshojae’s murder took place a few months after he was jumped by a group of men armed with baseball bats, who attacked him and left him fearing for his life.
The LAPD made four other arrests this week in connection with the doctor’s murder, with investigators believing they plotted to kill him.
Sarallah Jawed, 26, Shawn Randolph, 46, Evan Hardman, 41, and Rose Sweeting, 40, were all arrested.

Dr. Mirshojae accused his ex of waging a ‘vendetta’ against him and threatening to kill him.
The legal battle, which began in 2009 when the couple divorced, has expanded to two fraud cases, a civil harassment battle, four requests for restraining orders and the repeated reopening of their divorce case – most recently in January.
Both Mirshojae and her ex-doctor obtained restraining orders against each other at different times.
The doctor complained in a 2017 filing that an order granted to his ex-wife had forced him to leave the $6 million, six-bedroom Calabasas home where she still lives.
In May, Mirshojae sued his ex-wife for fraud. She claimed that she transferred her assets to her mother and other relatives in an attempt to hide them from him and prevent him from getting his hands on the settlement money he had received in previous lawsuits.
The pair were scheduled to face each other again in August at a hearing on the fraud case over their alleged inability to pay the $270,000 settlement awarded to him in a 2021 case.
Shortly after the couple decided to divorce in 2009, Dr. Mirshojae filed a restraining order against his wife and tried to keep her away from their $6 million marital home.
In the petition, in which Dr Mirshojae said the fracture was “due to physical violence”, he accused Ahang of repeatedly hitting him.

Eight years later, the father of four returned to court seeking a new restraining order – again because of Ahang’s behavior.
According to Dr. Mirshojae, in December 2016, an angry Ahang came to his clinic where, he alleged, she physically attacked him.
Her former fiancé Allen Yadegar was also present at the altercation and claimed to have a gun and said “he was going to kill Mirshojae,” according to the papers.

Dr. Mirshojae’s biography on his Detox Woodland Hills website explains that he graduated from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific.
He qualified for addiction medicine with more than a decade of experience helping “thousands of patients achieve their goal of sober living.”
“His patients include celebrities, movie stars, athletes and many people from different walks of life,” it said.
