- Republican Caitlyn Jenner is currently running for California’s next governor gouverneur
- Jimmy Kimmel mocked Jenner’s political ambitions and conservative views on his show Thursday, describing her as ‘Trump in a wig’
- Jenner has now hit back by accusing Kimmel of transphobia and claiming double standards are applied when Democrats say something politically incorrect

- Jenner also claimed Kimmel was protected after old images of him in a black face emerged
Caitlyn Jenner has accused Jimmy Kimmel of transphobia after the comedian called her “Donald Trump in a wig” on Thursday’s broadcast of his ABC evening show.
Jenner — who is currently running for California’s next governor — took to Twitter on Friday to slam the funny man and note the relative silence of the LGBTQ community following the comment.
“Last night @jimmykimmel called me Donald Trump in a wig. He clearly believes that trans women are just men with wigs on. Where is the outrage from the left or the LGBT community?’ Jenner, who is a Republican, wrote.
“Being an alarm clock should be optional if you’re a Democrat,” she added.
On Thursday night, Kimmel mocked Jenner’s political aspirations during his show’s opening monologue.
“She’s just trying to get attention,” he joked. Caitlyn Jenner has a better chance of becoming the next Batman than California governor. She actually knows little or nothing about anything.’
Some Twitter users lashed out at Kimmel, calling him a “bigot” and “transphobe.”

One wrote: ‘I can’t stand her’ [Jenner] and I get the gist of that comparison, but it’s transphobic to compare her to a man in a wig. Pretty gross joke.”
Kimmel’s controversial joke, however, didn’t get much resonance — leading Jenner to accuse the left of double standards and claim Kimmel is protected.
In a subsequent stream of tweets shared Friday, she pointed to several politically incorrect jokes and skits Kimmel had made during his comedy career.
Speaking of @jimmykimmel, he also got a pass from WOKE for his use of blackface and racist actions. Hypocritical,” he wrote.
He shared a screenshot with Kimmel in a black face during a Saturday Night Live skit in 2000.
Jenner also accused Kimmel of harassment and shared an old clip from his program The Man Show in which he asked women to touch his pants and guess what was in them.
@jimmykimmel also got a pass from WOKE while asking women to fondle him in public. His treatment of women is wrong. Disgusting. Despicable,’ Jenner raged.
Jenner added another tweet saying Kimmel was protected after making racist jokes.
“Sad that @jimmykimmel contributed to #AAPIHate. Is there a group he won’t attack? Jimmy, it’s time to stop #StopAsianHate,” she wrote.
She then posted a screenshot of an LA Times article about the backlash Kimmel received in 2013 after his ABC show aired a clip of a kid saying “Kill everyone in China.”
ABC apologized for that comment at the time,
Kimmel’s “joke” about Jenner on Thursday night came just hours after the aspiring governor appeared on another ABC TV show – The View.
