Caitlin Clark’s ‘creepy’ reporter Gregg Doyel has been suspended and will not attend any Indiana Fever games this summer after his rude interaction with the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s WNBA Draft.

Doyel, who has not published a column for the Indy Star since April 29, received a two-week suspension, according to a report by Bob Kravitz – former writer for the same publication.

He is expected to return to work on Monday, May 13.

Doyel’s awkward exchange with Clark stems from her introductory press conference with the Fever on April 17, two days after she was selected with the league’s first overall pick in Brooklyn, New York.

During the press conference, he introduced himself by giving Clark his patented heart gesture. When Clark asked if Doyel liked his popular hand signal, Doyel responded, “Start doing it with me and we’ll get along,” prompting an uncomfortable look from Clark.
