Caitlin Clark’s teammates have come under fire again after the Chicago Sky defeated the Indiana Fever on Sunday night.
Christie Sides’ players were criticized by many people after a previous meeting between the two teams, when Chennedy Carter tackled Clark, the first overall pick, with his hip to the ground.
Clark’s teammates were criticized for not doing more to protect their star player. Now, after Sunday’s defeat against Sky, they have been criticized for not having supported her with the ball.
Several clips have flooded social media, showing players throwing simple passes and missing layups.

“Not going to lie, Caitlin Clark might have some of the worst teammates in the WNBA,” one fan wrote.
‘Caitlin Clark with seven assists in the half. “It’s crazy to think how many he would have if his teammates could finish,” added another.
Clark is currently averaging 5.6 turnovers per game during her first season in the WNBA. That’s 1.7 more than anyone else, but some fans insist it’s not their fault.
“Clark’s teammates can’t understand this, which is why she leads the WNBA in turnovers,” one fan wrote. “Her teammates literally can’t catch the simplest of passes,” another added.
Clark was asked after the game if he wished he had taken more shots at the end of Sunday’s game.
Clark appeared to have a disagreement with Indiana Fever coach Christie Sides (right).
‘I mean, sure, you can wish it. “I’m sure I had one or two chances to try another shot at the end, but I trust my teammates…I’ll give them the ball at all times,” she said.
Incredibly, the No. 1 draft pick only took two shots in the final seven minutes, despite being one of the best shooters in women’s basketball.
He also appeared to have a disagreement with Indiana Fever coach Sides in the closing stages of the game. Defeat 88-87.
In a clip circulating on social media, Clark can be seen gesticulating furiously while speaking to Sides, before the Fever coach responds to his complaints.
