WNBA star Caitlin Clark was left speechless after being asked a strange question following the Indiana Fever’s win over the Dallas Wings.
Clark made history in last week’s 100-93 win in Arlington, becoming the first WNBA player to record 25 points and 10 assists in consecutive regular-season games.
This came just days after he shined against rival Angel Reese, racking up a career-high 31 points and 12 assists in a win over the Chicago Sky.
During a press conference after the Dallas game, Clark was asked, in unique style, how the game compared to his expectations.
“After putting on quite the show for those Windy City skyscrapers on Friday night, what was the most spectacular game you were hoping to find today at the party against these Big D dynamos?” asked one reporter.

Clark was left speechless for a moment before a Fever staff member broke the silence. “Next question,” they said before Clark had to answer.
The Indiana Fever suffered their first loss in six games on Friday night despite the rookie sensation breaking another WNBA record.
Clark scored 25 points and the Fever suffered a 99-88 loss to the Minnesota Lynx, who were also the last team to beat them on Aug. 24.
While Indiana’s winning streak may be over, its rookie sensation managed to set a new franchise record after hitting his 103rd three-pointer of the season.
No other player in Fever history has surpassed 102 3-pointers in a single season, and Clark still has five more regular-season games to improve her tally.
