Caitlin Clark was, as she usually is every time she steps on the court, the story of the night, and with no on-court altercations or extracurricular activity, the Iowa native simply let the entire night fly.
The No. 1 overall pick in this year’s WNBA draft dropped 29 points in an 85-83 win over the Washington Mystics on Friday night in Commissioner’s Cup action.
Clark also had eight rebounds and six assists along with eight costly turnovers (twice as many as the next closest player) that kept the game close.
