He is scheduled to release his latest album on March 28, 2025. On the day of the alleged assault, Rhymes posted previews of Dragon Season on his social media accounts.

It comes after Rhymes was filmed throwing a drink at a woman when she touched him in Las Vegas in February 2023.

The musical artist was accompanied by a group when the enthusiastic fan grabbed him from behind and touched his butt.

The clip shows Busta, dressed in a dark sports jacket and light pants, spinning and throwing the drink.

A representative for Rhymes did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment at the time.

The woman, identified as Nikita Mathis, confirmed to The shadow room that she was the person who touched Busta.

The thrown drink was reportedly an open plastic water glass which Rhymes quickly used in his defense.
