Police and stewards escorted fans out of an area of the Jimmy McIlroy Stand due to a problem with the stadium roof during the Premier League match between Burnley and Wolves.
The game was in the 21st minute when police and stewards began removing hundreds of fans from a section of the Jimmy McIlroy stand.
Images on social media showed a piece of metal hanging dangerously from the roof of the grandstand.
A seating area was cordoned off and hostesses formed a barrier as the game continued Tuesday night.

The evacuated fans were taken to the club’s Fan Zone to watch the rest of the game.
Journalist Steve Madeley tweeted: ‘Section of Jimmy McIlroy stand evacuated due to metal hanging dangerously from the ceiling.
‘Burnley fans staying in those seats are invited to watch the rest of the game from FanZone!’
