BURNLEY, England (AP) – Burnley took advantage of two of Fulham's own goals in quick succession when he won 2-1 on Turf Moor, despite having no goal win in the English Premier League on Saturday.

Andre Schurrle's wonderful early strike was canceled in the 20th minute when Jeff Hendrick's stake went into Joe Bryan.

Three minutes later, Denis Odoi accidentally defeated Sergio Rico after Hendrick had crossed.

Calum Chambers led shortly after the Burnley-bar and Fulham-substitute Luciano Vietto was refused after the break by James Tarkowski and Tom Heaton – two players who would impress the British boss Gareth Southgate, who is watching from the stands.

Burnley insisted on taking a third consecutive league win, which further reduced the degradation fear, while the penultimate Fulham gained five points for safety.

Fulham has won only one of the last nine league games.
