A man who slipped and fell in the bathroom of a Burger King in Hollywood, Florida was awarded a $7.8million judgment by a court last week which the fast food chain said responsible for human injuries.
In July 2019, Richard Tulecki, 48, slipped and fell in the bathroom of the restaurant at 2631 S. State Road and later sued the chain claiming the restaurant was either responsible for the conditions that led to his downfall either should have known them and had gone to them before his accident.
The lawsuit was filed by personal injury attorneys H. Ross Zelnick and Miguel Amador, who argued that Tulecki suffered lower back injuries that resulted in surgery, which later complicated with a colon. postoperative perforated.

Burger King is considering challenging the verdict and asking for a new trial.
The restaurant chain is also expected to close 400 locations by the end of the year.
