Bunnings area manager Nicole Marshall said the aggravated robbery was another in a long list of incidents retail workers faced in their daily work.
“The safety of our team and our customers is our top priority, and we never tolerate any violent behavior in our stores,” he said.
We thank our team for the calm and professional way in which they handled the situation and we have now referred this matter to the police.
“Unfortunately, this is an example of the increase in threatening incidents that retail workers are currently experiencing.”
