A Buffalo Bills fan appears to have gotten a little overexcited at his team’s home opener on Sunday, after a bizarre sequence of events culminated in his rescue by emergency services from a 40-hole hole feet outside the stadium.
The unnamed 29-year-old, who claims he was under the influence of alcohol, LSD, cocaine and marijuana, was recovered by authorities during a 20-minute rescue operation before the game, with the first call coming around 12:18 p.m. ET.
Security and fans outside the stadium informed officers that they saw the man undress on a porta potty at the venue, before covering himself in human feces.
He then allegedly jumped the fence at the construction site of the Bills’ new stadium, which is just west of their current home in Orchard Park, across Abbott Road and south of Community College Drive.
Incredibly, after being rescued, the man’s only injury was a cut to his forehead and he was transported to Buffalo General Hospital, where he was later evaluated by medical staff.
70,000 fans entered Highmark Stadium for the game – but one didn’t make it that far

The unsavory incident took place in car park 3, where construction work is taking place.

Most Bills fans enjoyed the game and managed to keep their clothes on throughout the victory.
The man was also issued a summons to appear in the City of Orchard Park for criminal trespassing, according to Sheriff Garcia of the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.
Unfortunately for Bills fans, he also missed his team’s first win of the season, as Josh Allen and Co bounced back from a Monday Night Football loss to the Jets, to beat the Las Vegas Raiders 38-10 .
Police say there were a total of eight evictions from the stadium before, during and after the match – although none of the others are likely to come close to the bizarre nature of the pre-match intruder.
Next, the Bills will face a road game against the Washington Commanders in week three.
