Bryson DeChambeau already knows what his first moves would be if he ever left Earth’s orbit.

The LIV Golf star joined President-elect Donald Trump and Elon Musk at the launch of the SpaceX Starship rocket’s sixth test flight last week and made a cameo in Kai Trump’s YouTube vlog.

Standing next to the granddaughter of the future 47th president as they watched the rocket launch, the professional golfer shared his desire to reach space and revealed what he would do if he ever did.

“I really want to do that,” DeChambeau declared, pointing to the launch pad off-camera. “I would literally cry for a couple of hours being up there and looking at the dirt.”

While the player’s first steps into space wouldn’t be as productive, DeChambeau also revealed ambitious intentions for his own engineering experiments.

He told Kai about the brilliant idea of an invention of his own, before explaining how it could improve his golf game.

“I’ll design a space golf club with thrusters on the back so you can increase club head speed,” he said, before adding, “Just for you.”

‘Just for me, okay? I’m going to need it. Wow, that hurts,’ Kai joked, taking playful offense at DeChambeau’s suggestion that his clubhead speed could use some improvement.

Last Wednesday, DeChambeau posted his own video of the launch, capturing his reaction as the rocket lifted off from the surface.

“I’ve never felt so inspired #spacex,” he captioned

In the clip, the two-time US Open champion stood in awe as he shouted, “Come on, baby.”

After DeChambeau’s initial chants and applause, the camera turned to the rocket taking off.

As the rocket moved away from the ground, the camera again showed a close-up of DeChambeau looking at the sky and moving his jaw in the opposite direction of the shuttle.

As DeChambeau gaped in wonder at the launch, US President-elect Trump could be seen a few feet behind him, wearing a Make America Great Again cap.

The couple’s relationship is very important, as they frequently go to the golf course together and Trump went viral a couple of months before the election thanks to DeChambeau and a cameo on his YouTube channel.

Additionally, DeChambeau was not only present at Trump’s Election Day party, but the future 47th president called him on stage during his victory speech.

DeChambeau’s amazement at this feat is not a surprise given his self-proclaimed love of physics. His fascination led to the nickname “The Mad Scientist.”

He has become famous for his scientific approach to the game of golf, and made headlines earlier this year for his 3D printed irons at The Masters in April.

He is also known for soaking his golf balls in Epsom salt to spin them properly and keep the shafts of his clubs the same length: 37.5 inches, which is the length of a traditional 7-iron.
