Tyler Herro was distracted by a fight at Kaseya Center during his postgame interview

Miami Heat star Tyler Herro struggled to stay focused during a postgame interview Tuesday night when a fight in the stands caught his attention.

Following the Heat’s preseason victory over the San Antonio Spurs, a fight broke out in one of the lower sections of the Kaseya Center while Herro spoke with Bally Sport Sun.

The sniper showed impressive multitasking ability as he answered the questions while tuning into the chaos behind one of the hoops. Herro would apologize for being distracted before concluding his response.

“We just have to keep figuring out what we can do to get ready for the season,” Herro said. ‘Sorry, I’m distracted by a fight up there. This is crazy.’

Kelly Saco, who conducted the interview, looked on and said she hoped “this ends soon” before letting Herro return to the locker room. Herro was still watching the scene of the fight as he walked away.

A video of the incident went viral on social media and showed a fierce fight that lasted at least 30 seconds. Arena security and law enforcement approached the scene to calm the situation.

Three men were involved, throwing fists, as two of them appeared to be attacking the third. The three were also seen grabbing each other while one had his shirt ripped at the end of the clip.

A woman is also seen trying to get in on the action while a bystander continually yells at them to stop throwing punches.

It is still unclear what started the massive brawl.

Herro scored 14 points in the Heat’s 120-117 victory. The team will begin its season at home next Wednesday against the Orlando Magic.

Miami lost in the first round of last season’s playoffs to eventual champions Boston after appearing in the NBA Finals against Denver in 2023. However, the Heat have kept the same core of Herro, Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo .
