Britain’s Got Talent’s first live show of the 2023 series spiraled into chaos on Saturday night when new judge Bruno Tonioli pressed his golden buzzer midway through an act’s performance.
The former Strictly star, 67, made his debut on the ITV talent show alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon where he quickly found himself stuck in enjoying the entertainment on offer.
However, the disastrous Italian ran into trouble when he excitedly pressed his golden buzzer for Ugandan dance act Ghetto Kids before they finished their performance.
While it is customary for the judges or presenters Ant and Dec to push the button after the performance, the talented orphans were showered with gold confetti as they danced on stage.
The group, while elated by the golden buzzer, plowed through the performance and put on a great show – despite barely being able to see through the confetti.
