The Boston Bruins have finally come to terms on a new long-term contract with Jeremy Swayman. And they did it right before the regular season begins Tuesday against the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers.

The 25-year-old goaltender has signed an eight-year, $66 million contract with a cap hit of $8.25 million. the team announced Sunday. The agreement includes a no-trade clause, according to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman. Swayman entered the offseason as a restricted free agent.
