Bruce Willis made a rare public appearance in Studio City on Friday, as the 69-year-old actor continues his battle with aphasia and frontotemporal dementia.
The Die Hard star was seen riding in the passenger seat of a black Range Rover, cruising around the exclusive Los Angeles neighborhood.
Wearing a casual white T-shirt, Willis looked a little tired as he looked out the window.
This sighting comes shortly after his daughter Rumer Willis provided an encouraging update on his condition, assuring fans that her father is “doing great” despite his challenges.
Willis is the proud father of five daughters: Mabel Ray, 12, and Evelyn, 10, with his wife Emma Heming Willis, and Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30, with his ex-wife Demi Moore.
His family has been by his side throughout his health journey, offering support as he faces life with dementia.

In her August post, Rumer shared an image of her holding her father’s hand while answering a question about how the actor has been doing amid his health issues.
Rumer said: ‘He’s great. I love him very much. Thank you.’
This comes after Demi shared an update on Bruce’s health, revealing that he is “in a stable place.”
The actress, who stars in the upcoming body horror film The Substance, appeared on a recent episode of The Drew Barrymore Show.
Reflecting on her relationship with the Die Hard actor, to whom she was married from 1987 to 2000, Moore said: “Given the facts, he is in a stable place.”
In May, Rumer said in the today’s program that her father had been doing “well” and was bonding with her one-year-old daughter Louetta, whom she shares with ex Derek Richard Thomas.
“I actually got to see him right before I came” to New York, she said, and “Lou is just starting to walk a little bit and she walked up to him, and he was so sweet.”

In May, Dailymail.com reported that the actor had been battling the incurable disease since around spring 2022; Bruce seen in April 2019.

Rumer at the hearing said she and her family members have been honest about the family’s health issue in hopes of raising awareness among others in similar circumstances.
“Our vulnerability and transparency as a family about what he’s going through for me is very important,” she said, “because if it can have any impact on another family who is struggling in some way with something like this, or bring more attention to “I think that it’s really important to treat the disease in the hope of finding a cure or anything that might be helpful to anyone else.”

FTD is different from the most well-known type of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease. But unlike Alzheimer’s, memory is not the first to be lost.
Aphasia (difficulty speaking and expressing thoughts with words) is the first symptom for most. Willis has been struggling with this for two years.
FTD also warps people’s personalities as it affects the region of the brain responsible for mood regulation, causing sudden violent outbursts, inappropriate behavior in public, lack of self-awareness, and anxiety.
People with FTD usually die within eight to ten years after diagnosis. About 80 percent of FTD patients who experience behavioral changes have died within eight years of their diagnosis.
Bruce’s daughter Tallulah said in November 2023 on the Drew Barrymore Show: “I see love when I’m with him, and he’s my dad, and he loves me.”
“Playing music… and sitting in that and this energy of love, it’s really special.”
Demi Moore has urged families of those living with dementia to “let go” of the person they used to be after her ex-husband Bruce’s (pictured with daughter Tallulah) diagnosis.
