Representatives for the Only the Strong Survive artist said they “could not confirm Forbes’ estimate.”
The Forbes report came after Springsteen sold his multi-platinum music catalog to Sony Music Entertainment for an estimated $500 million to $550 million in 2021.
Meanwhile, Variety reported that Springsteen also made a fortune from his touring, having “sold more than 1.6 million concert tickets, generating $380 million in revenue” last year.
