Music legend Bruce Springsteen officially endorsed Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris on Thursday and launched an extraordinary attack on former President Donald Trump.

The 75-year-old rocker made his electoral preference known by posting a video on Instagram, which appeared to have been filmed from a restaurant.

Wearing a button-down flannel jacket, Springsteen warned that Trump represented “the most dangerous presidential candidate of my lifetime.”

“His disregard for the sanctity of our Constitution, the sanctity of democracy, the sanctity of the rule of law and the sanctity of the peaceful transfer of power should disqualify him from the office of president ever again,” Springsteen said.

He added that Trump “does not understand the meaning of this country, its history or what it means to be deeply American.”

Springsteen said Vice President Kamala Harris (pictured) and vice presidential candidate Tim Walz were “committed to a vision of this country that respects and includes everyone.”

Springsteen opened the video by saying that “friends, fans and the press have been asking me who I support in this very important election.”

He acknowledged that his response was “no less important than that of any of my fellow citizens,” but then said that he unsurprisingly supported the Democratic nomination.

Springsteen commented on the current divisive political climate by saying that “not since the Civil War” has the country been “so divided politically, spiritually and emotionally.”

“It doesn’t have to be that way,” he said.

He said Harris and his running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, were “committed to a vision for this country that respects and includes everyone.”

“Regardless of your class, your religion, your race, your political views or your sexual identity,” he continued.

“And they want to grow our economy in a way that benefits everyone, not just a few, like me, at the top,” Springsteen said with a smile.

He officially became a billionaire over the summer.

“That’s the vision of America that I’ve been writing about constantly for 55 years,” he said.

“Now everyone sees things differently and I respect your choice as a fellow citizen,” he said. “But like you, I only have one vote and it is one of the most prized possessions I have.”

“That’s why, on November 5, I will vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Thank you for listening,’ he concluded.
