Lady Gaenor Meakes, owner of the sprawling property in Balgowlah, has launched civil proceedings against Lehrmann.

The former Liberal staffer had stayed in the house for a year while Seven paid rent in exchange for an exclusive interview about Brittany Higgins’ rape allegations.

A settlement date has been set for May 23, however it is unclear why Lady Meakes is suing, The Australian reported.

Lehrmann moved out of the Balgowlah home just over a month ago and his lease was shortened by three weeks.
