Khalen Saunders may have had his NFL breakout moment on Monday night, intercepting Patrick Mahomes in the end zone and returning the ball nearly 40 yards to give the Saints good field position.
Saunders was uniquely noted in a video package just before the play as the brother of one of Taylor Swift’s backup dancers, Kameron Saunders, who appears prominently on her ‘Eras Tour.’
Khalen Saunders is a former Kansas City boss who signed with New Orleans last year.
On the play before the video package aired, Saunders tackled Swift’s boyfriend and her former teammate, Travis Kelce, to the turf.

Kelce joined Kameron Saunders and Swift on stage on June 23 during one of the ‘Eras Tour’ shows at Wembley Stadium as a fellow backup dancer.
Kameron has gone viral on social media several times during the ‘Eras Tour’ for his dance improvisations and unique phrases he utters during ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.’
One of his improvisational lines from ‘Up yours, w****r!’ in London had Swift burst onto the stage.
Khalen’s interception led to one of the Saints’ two touchdowns in the game, a pass from Derek Carr to Foster Moreau.
Saunders and Kelce won two Super Bowls together with the Chiefs in 2020 and 2023. The Chiefs remained undefeated with a 26-13 victory over the Saints.

Chiefs players Mecole Hardman and Chris Jones congratulated Khalen after the game and congratulated him for taking out Mahomes.
Former NFL defensive lineman JJ Watt gave a surprising summary of the situation after the sequence ended.
‘The brother of Taylor Swift’s dancer, Khalen Saunders, just tackled her boyfriend Travis Kelce to prevent him from scoring a touchdown. On the next play, he intercepted Patrick Mahomes in the end zone,” Watt said on X.
“I didn’t expect to explain that to (wife) Kealia (Watt) when she came downstairs.”
