A Brooklyn woman was left with a fractured face, three teeth knocked out, and her jaw had to be wired shut after a stranger brutally beat her on the street.
Dulce Pichardo, 57, was walking on Grand Avenue near Dean Street in Brooklyn around 5 p.m. Tuesday when a man punched her in the face.
Shocking CCTV footage shows Franz Jeudy, 33, extending her arm as Pichardo, a school bus attendant returning home from work, violently punches her in the face before simply walking on.
Pichardo is seen staggering back from the force of the brutal assault and the shock.
‘I was bleeding a lot. She was so scared. “I’m very scared,” the victim told ABC News.

She was walking along Grand Avenue near Dean Street in Brooklyn around 5 p.m. Tuesday when a man punched her in the face.
Pichardo, whose face was fractured in several places, had to have his jaw wired shut and will only be able to eat with a straw for six weeks.
He also lost three teeth and may have suffered permanent damage to his lower lip.
“He hit me very, very hard around here,” Pichardo said, showing his bruised and battered head.
And here everything broke. Everything broke,” she said of the left side of his face.
His brother, owner of a nearby restaurant, and an employee chased the attacker down the street.
When they reached him he denied the attack.

However, they followed him for several blocks and prevented him from fleeing until the police arrived.

“Every time I see a man, I cross,” Pichardo told ABC.
‘I’m not going to be close to anyone. I am very afraid. I tell my son where I’m going, I tell him I want you to walk with me.’
