Brooklyn Beckham was rushed to hospital after fracturing his shoulder while giving fans a health update on Friday.

Posting a photo from his hospital bed on Instagram, the Beckhams’ eldest son, 25, revealed the serious injury but did not explain how it happened.

Brooklyn looked in good spirits despite the circumstances as she smiled in the black-and-white selfie.

Brooklyn wore a hospital gown and added her own sense of style to the look as she kept on a baseball cap that she wore backwards despite the hospital setting.

Sharing the health update with fans, he paid tribute to his wife Nicola Peltz and wrote: ‘I broke my shoulder but it’s all good because I have @nicolaannepeltzbeckham to take care of me. Love you babe.

While it is unknown how Brooklyn suffered the injury, he had been at the trendy Japanese restaurant ITO in New York the night before.

The star shared several snaps and clips of her delicious meal on her Instagram Story on Thursday night, suggesting the injury occurred sometime after eating out.

Fans were quick to wish Brooklyn well and expressed their condolences in the comments.

They wrote: ‘Have a speedy recovery!’; ‘Hope your healing is going well xx’; ‘Gosh I hope you recover well Brooklyn’; ‘Get well soon’.

While Brooklyn thanked his wife for her support, his family are currently cruising the Amalfi Coast on their £16million superyacht.

David and Victoria have been travelling around Italy this past week, sailing around the Aeolian Islands before heading to Nerano.

The couple was accompanied by their three other children, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, however Brooklyn and Nicola did not participate in the family vacation.

On Thursday, David took to Instagram to share a selection of snaps from his time away from home as he gushed about spending time with his family but admitted he missed Brooklyn and Nicola.

Sharing a family photo of the five of them together having dinner, she wrote: “A fun summer with the family. We miss you Bust and Nicola. Love these moments of memories, love you all.”
